Mushroom Rice


Ingrediens

  • Olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 300g mushrooms (one packet)
  • 1 1/2 cups basmati rice, rinced
  • 2 1/4 cup water
  • Fresh dill and parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
Directions
  1. In a pot with a large bottom, add the olive oil and cook the finely chopped onion. On high heat, add the mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms roast a little and become darker.
  2. Add the basmati rice, water, salt and fresh dill and parsley. Close and cook on medium low heat until all the water is absorbed.
  3. When it's done and the rice is cooked, remove from the heat and leave the pot open to avoid ending up with a sticky rice texture. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes, stir it gendly once, and enjoy!
