Mushroom Rice
Ingrediens
- Olive oil
- 1 onion
- 300g mushrooms (one packet)
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice, rinced
- 2 1/4 cup water
- Fresh dill and parsley
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- In a pot with a large bottom, add the olive oil and cook the finely chopped onion. On high heat, add the mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms roast a little and become darker.
- Add the basmati rice, water, salt and fresh dill and parsley. Close and cook on medium low heat until all the water is absorbed.
- When it's done and the rice is cooked, remove from the heat and leave the pot open to avoid ending up with a sticky rice texture. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes, stir it gendly once, and enjoy!
